Twinkle Khanna Contributes To '250 Units Of Oxygen Concentrator Machines And 5,000 Nasal Cannulas' As India Continues To Battle COVID-19 Crisis

Twinkle Khanna recently took to her Instagram page and revealed that with the help of an NGO she has contributed to 250 units of oxygen concentrator machines and 5000 nasal cannulas.

Given the current Covid-19 situation in India due to Coronavirus, many celebrities are coming forward to support and help those in need of oxygen cylinders, medicines and hospital beds. From Sonu Sood, Priyanka Chopra Jonas to Sushmita Sen, celebrities are setting a great example by helping COVID-19 patients. A few days ago, Twinkle Khanna and Akshay Kumar revealed that they managed to get their hands on 100 oxygen concentrators and pledged to donate it to COVID-19 patients.

And now, taking to her Instagram account, Twinkle Khanna shared that with the help of an NGO she has managed to assemble 250 units of oxygen concentrator machines and 5,000 nasal cannulas, reading for shipping to India. Sharing a picture, Twinkle wrote, "A big shout out to all of you who joined me in donating toward this good cause by @daivikfoundation." 

She reposted the NGO's post that read, "Thank you to everyone who has contributed and continue to contribute. We are now ready to ship 250 units of oxygen concentrator machines and 5,000 nasal cannulas to India." Twinkle Khanna also urged people in India to stay strong and safe.

A few days ago, Sushmita Sen managed to send oxygen cylinders for a hospital in Delhi. The actress had shared a video of the hospital's CEO breaking down on camera at the lack of oxygen in his hospital. She later updated her fans that the hospital has received oxygen cylinders from somewhere else. Sharing a tweet, she wrote, "The said hospital has oxygen organised for now!!! It gives us more time to send the cylinders!! Thank you all sooooooo much for helping create awareness & support!! deeply grateful!!! Stay good hearted.... it suits you."
